Account Executive – Installed Base/Customer Base

Uptime is growing more than 100% YoY and accelerating. We are looking for smart, service oriented and reasonably technical AEs to service our volume/large customers. These are inbound customer sales positions that will manage multiple daily requests from our global Enterprise and Business customers while engaging our target customers for proactive upsell opportunities. Growing into leadership is a possibility if interested. On-target earnings between 60k and 120k a year depending on experience. Base-salary between 40-70k with variable commissions of 20-50k (uncapped). This is a work from anywhere position that requires excellent time-management and high responsibility traits. EXPECTATIONS

  • Your primary role will be to expand customer account usage and increase share of wallet
  • Responsible for fielding and expanding all incoming upgrade requests
  • Build on already existing relationships with our extensive enterprise and business segments
  • Proactively propose upgrades based on customer usage and customer requests
  • Document and forecast pipeline and manage the customer sales cycle
  • Achieve sales quota month over month, quarter over quarter
  • Develop and execute an account plan for each target customer
  • Ensure a good relationship between all Uptime’s customer and the associated customer contacts at all levels

  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Ability to articulate needs for internal process improvements and propose changes with an ownership mentality

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • 2+ years sales experience in IT, Software or Software as a Service
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment Installed Based/Customer based sales experience preferred; will accept broader upsell experience
  • Technical/IT hobbies, work, mindset a plus
