Brand new monitoring <a href=\"https:\/\/support.uptime.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/115002533749-Overview-of-Probe-Servers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Locations<\/a> have been deployed in <strong>Taiwan<\/strong>, <strong>Thailand<\/strong>, <strong>Philippines<\/strong>, <strong>Vietnam<\/strong>, <strong>Malaysia<\/strong>, and <strong>Chile<\/strong>, as well as a second Location in <strong>Japan<\/strong> in Osaka.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This represents the first step towards total global presence to help ensure that your web services are available for customers, no matter where they are.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"434\" height=\"420\" src=\"https:\/\/uptime.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/ss-APAC-locations-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4942\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Please make sure that you review our list of <a href=\"https:\/\/uptime.com\/monitoring\/servers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Probe Servers<\/a> for exact IP addresses for whitelisting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-new-add-on-purchase-authorization\">New Add-on Purchase Authorization <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/15.0\/1f4b3\/32.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\udcb3\"><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of our recent overhauls to our UI and our Subscription system, we\u2019ve also added a new user permission to authorize a user with <strong>Admin<\/strong> or <strong>View &amp; Modify<\/strong> permissions to purchase add-ons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note:&nbsp;<\/strong>this permission can only be granted by the account <strong>owner<\/strong>, and does <strong>not<\/strong> grant access to the payment method.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/uptime.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/ss-add-on-purchase-permissions-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4943\" width=\"422\" height=\"366\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>For more information on this new permission, see our article on <a href=\"https:\/\/support.uptime.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/115002535909-Managing-User-Accounts#non_owner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Account Management<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-private-location-v3-0-beta\">Private Location v3.0 Beta <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/15.0\/2697_fe0f\/32.png\" alt=\"\u2697\ufe0f\"><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Private Location Monitoring<\/strong> is one of our most powerful features, and one that we\u2019re constantly improving.
