SSL Certificate Expiry Check Upgrade

The SSL Certificate Expiry check received a massive upgrade, with a number of customer-requested features now available. Choose from a wider selection of protocols, and customize the monitoring requirements with additional verification fields. 

These new settings are visible when adding or editing a SSL Certificate Expiry check in the Uptime.com web UI, as shown below.

Beyond customizable verification criteria, you can also select new settings such as CRL fallback when OSCP is not available, Allow self-signed certificates, and Check only the first certificate in the chain.

These settings will allow for greater flexibility and reliability for a wider use case.

Please note: for SSL Cert Expiry checks using Private Locations, you will need to update to image version 2.5 for these updates to work. See the notice on “Private Location probe server image update to v2.5” below.
